It is an animated television series Japanese in 13 episodes which aired in Japan in 2004. This is the first part of a trilogy series that has Nanoha, Nanoha A's and StrikerS Nanoha.
Nanoha Takamachi is a child who attends the third grade and lives with his parents, who run a bar, the elder sister, attending high school and his brother, a university student. The normal life changes when Nanoha hears a strange voice calling her while she was walking home from school and ends with the recovery of a ferret injured. In this way Nanoha gets a magical crystal called Raising Heart, which gives magical powers.
After their encounter, Nanoha and Yuno begin to recover twenty-one "Jewel Seeds", powerful crystals lost the original world of Yuno. These crystals have the power to grant wishes and can be very dangerous in the wrong hands. Unfortunately Nanoha and Yuno are not the only ones who are trying to recover the Jewel Seeds, on their trail there is also Fate Testarossa, a foreign girl.

Despite her young age, she worked as an archaeologist and has recently discovered a group of ancient and powerful artifacts commonly known as Jewel Seeds.
Chrono Harlaown
He is an agent's office investigation interdimensional. He is a master magician and son of the commander of the Arthra , the mothership of the Bureau.
Lindy Harlaown
Chrono mother and commander of the Arthra .She loves to drink green tea with sugar (and sometimes with cream), which is rather ironic, considering her appreciation for the Japanese culture.
Amy Limietta
An officer in charge of communications and tracking Seeds aboard the Arthra, is a good friend of Chrono and Lindy. There is an officer cadet, often the goal is to conduct research and gather intelligence, which apparently is her specialty.
Precia Testarossa
Desperately wants the Jewel Seeds to resurrect Alicia, going so far do not hesitate to remove any obstacles from his path.
