This saga is primarily focused on capturing the cards and the introduction of new characters, like the best friend of Sakura, Tomoyo Daidoji, and the Chinese catturacarte Shaoran Lee, his rival.
After becoming the new master of cards, the new task of Sakura is to transform the Clow Cards into Sakura cards, so that the cards will no longer use the magic Clow, but one that Sakura had created from nothing. Meanwhile, new problems arise Tomoeda, ends up falling in love with Syaoran and Sakura.

Sakura Kinomoto
The ten year old girl and the protagonist of the series. Sakura lives with her father and brother. Her mother died when Sakura was three years old. Her school, she always on her inline skates denies it leads to Tomoeda Elementary School, whose cheerleading club she belongs. Sakura is particularly characteristic of her constant optimism , their terrible fear from ghosts and their very great appreciation for things like friendship and family. She is also in love with Yukito, the best friend of her brother.
Tomoyo Daidouji
Tomoyo attended the same school as Sakura, is her best friend and also her biggest fan. Despite their more affluent background Tomoyo is a normal girl. She is a member of the school choir and very talented when it comes to tailor new costumes for Sakura's hunt for the cards.
Touya Kinomoto
Toya is Sakura's older brother, whose school is near her and whom she therefore, probably, or rather because of Toya's friend Yukito, the school comes together. Toya is always as the "typical" big brother who annoys his sister when he can, by, for example, as Godzilla offended, but really feels very much for them and protect at all costs would be.
Yukito Tsukishiro
Yukito is Toya's best friend and classmate, and at first, despite the large age difference, both Sakura and Shaorans, large swarm. Yukito is a very kind and polite person, the rarely seen without a smiling face. He has many talents and therefore helps in almost all the clubs of his school, if something is missing one participant. Another "gift" is his big appetite, because he may still be so thin, Yukito eats much more than many of the actors together. Later in the series, we learn that Yukito is not a "normal" person, but carries the spirit of the Clow Card Protector Yue in itself.
Syaoran Li
Shaoran is removed with the creator of the Clow Cards, Clow Read, used and moved from Hong Kong in Sakura City, and also attends the same class. Shaoran is also in search of the lost cards, which he with the help of a magical artifact locations, but also can be perceived just as Sakura. Initially, Shaoran and Sakura still exists between a huge rivalry, carried their love for Yukito Tsukishiro yet completed. Over time, Sakura and Shaoran but come closer and become friends, until he falls then at the end of the series to Sakura.
Yue
Yue is Kerberos' counterpart as guardian of the Clow Cards, who was in hiding in Yukito, Sakura had to collect all the cards. He is distinguished from a large initial severity, but later a friendly attitude and subordinate to Sakura.
Eriol Hiiragizawa
Eriol, the exchange student from England, is in fact a reincarnation of Clow Read, who seems to watch Sakura's progress with the Clow Cards and drive. However, he returns back to England, after all Clow Cards into Sakura Cards were turned.
Meiling Li
In the 20th Sequence appears again on a foreign exchange student from Hong Kong, but this time a girl. She is fiance Shaorans Meilin, which will from this day forward very much to take care of Shaoran. Shaoran and Meilin that are engaged to be married, but is not entirely accurate, since it is based on a promise that Meilin had wrested Shaoran, after he brought her beloved bird, as this was once flown away.
Clow Reed
The creator of the Clow Cards and their guardians. Clow Read has combined western and eastern magic and developed to such an exceptional talent for an equally unusual kind of magic. Kerberos Clow, however, described as something "wrong-headed." Before he died he made sure that a half reincarnated with his memories and his magic in Eriol and the other half in Fujitaka.
Kaho Mizuki
The inconspicuous mathematics teacher at Sakura's primary school. Both Sakura and Shaoran noted that she is special, with this, but in highly varying degrees, with Sakura as sympathy shown at Shaoran as great caution. She also knows about the Clow Cards and Sakura help solve their last big test.
