Final Fantasy VII

Final Fantasy VII active conspiracy is managed by some of the greatest works of science-fiction film and literature. With lots of promotions already surrounding the game, Sony further advanced it with commercial spots that resembled movie trailers, appealing to magnify the wholeness of video games up to a status equal with more established media like film and television.

The story takes off in the futuristic metropolis of Midgar, where our heroine Cloud Strife. He is a soldier turned mercenary with a BFS, joins the eco-terrorist organization AVALANCHE alongside his old friend Tifa Lockhart and resident Scary Black Man with a machine gun for a hand, Barret Wallace. Together they fight against the evil Mega Corp Shinra Company, who provided power to the citizens of Midgar by essentially sucking the life force straight from the planet itself, using their power to get rid of anyone in their way.

 Cloud is separated from the team when a terrorist strike goes wrong, and meets the plucky flower girl Aerith Gainsborough in the slums of Sector 5, eventually reuniting with Tifa via offering himself up for prostitution. Soon after, Shinra tries to crush the group by destroying an entire sector of the city slums, and kidnap Aerith, with Shinra believing her to be the last of The Ancients and hoping to experiment on her. Cloud and the remaining members of AVALANCHE raid Shinra's headquarters, and after a series of mishaps and encounters, learn of Shinra's plans...and find the company president dead in his office, impaled by an impossibly long sword that could only have been wielded by the legendary SOLDIER Sephiroth, the man at the centre of Cloud's Dark and Troubled Past. Escaping the city with the knowledge that Sephiroth is out there somewhere, Cloud, and company set off on a journey around the world to find him.



Final Fantasy VII Characters:

Cloud Strife
He is a former top-ranking member of Shinra's elite paramilitary unit, SOLDIER. Now working as a mercenary- for- hire, he takes a job with the anti-Shinra organisation AVALANCHE to bring down his old employers. Actually, a low-level Mook whose failures to qualify for SOLDIER left him with severe self-confidence issues. He then gets put through so much mind-scrambling experimentation that he confuses his own memories and achievements with those of his best friend Zack Fair. After the truth is revealed, he suffers a Heroic BSOD, but thanks to a Journey to the Center of the Mind, he comes to terms with who he is and rebuilds his persona from the ground up.

Tifa Lockheart
She is a member of AVALANCHE and Cloud's childhood friend. She also owns a bar called "7th Heaven" in Sector 7 of Midgar. Though she realizes that, something is very wrong with Cloud's memories, her indecisiveness prevents her from saying anything until it's too late. She vows not to let the same thing happen again, gaining the strength to help Cloud rebuild his persona.

Aerith Gainsborough
She is a young woman who sells flowers for a living in the slums of Midgar. Her years on the streets have given her an outgoing, street-smart but caring attitude. She is the last living Cetra, a precursor race which was driven to extinction by JENOVA. Her independent nature leads to disaster when she decides to take the burden of defeating Sephiroth all by herself, abandoning the party and traveling to the City of the Ancients alone. This leaves her vulnerable to attack, and she is killed by Sephiroth.

Vincent Valentine
He is the main character of Dirge of Cerberus. He is a former member of the Turks with a mysterious past that ties him to Cloud and his group.

Yuffie Kisaragi
As a defiant and proud tomboy, she desires to restore her homeland Wutai to the glorious nation, it was before being defeated by Shinra. Despite her sometimes obnoxious personality, she is friendly, helpful, and willingly helps the party in their battles.

Zack Fair
He is a vigorous SOLDIER second class with dreams of becoming SOLDIER first Class. Popular enough to get his own spin off generally the best received of the Compilation.

Sephiroth
An elite member of SOLDIER. His original goal, according to the first game, was to become a god. As for what it is in the Compilation, well... it tends to vary.

Rufus Shinra
He is the son of the president of the Shinra Corporation. In Advent Children, he manages to spend a great deal of time manipulating Kadaj and his brothers, and possibly Cloud as well

Genesis Rhapsodos
He is a former SOLDIER 1st class that deserted from the Shinra Corporation. He had a friendly rivalry with Angeal and Sephiroth as well as some other similarities to them
