Isshuukan Friends is a manga written and illustrated by Matcha Hazuki. In April 2014, the manga was adapted studio Brain's Base in the anime series.
High school student Yuki Hase notices that his classmate Kaori Aya is one and has no friends. After exploring, Kaori says that it loses all memories of his friends every Monday. Learning of this, Yuki wants to become her friend every week.
One Week Friends Characters:
Kaori Fujimiya
She is the deuteragonist of Isshuukan Friends and Yuuki Hase's classmate. At the beginning of the series, she is always alone and does not seem to have any friends. This can be attributed to her chronic memory loss, which causes her to lose all her memories of the times she was happy and of those she considers friends every Monday.
Yuuki Hase
He is a high school student who notices that his classmate Kaori Fujimiya is always alone. He endeavors to be her friend even after learning that she loses every memory of her friends each Monday.
Shougo Kiryuu
Being a reliable person, he gets good grades. Although sometimes he may seem as a cold person, he just usually speaks his mind (he may seem rude to some people). Shougo also speaks very casually and might seem somewhat stupid to some onlookers, but as seen in episode 3, he is very calculating and logical.
Saki Yamagishi
She is a bit clumsy and forgetful, but not similar to Kaori. She is friendly and determined to become close friends with Kaori.
Hajime Kujou
He is first shown as a very friendly person the day he transfers into his new school, however he rather acts very cold and distant towards Kaori. He calls her a "traitor" every single time he refers to her or talks to her due to the unfulfilled promise Kaori had on him, yet he doesn't tell her the truth until much more later.
