Myself ; Yourself - Sweet Lovers

The series is more than just an anime about friendship. A much closer description would be reality-based anime. It’s a touching and down to earth that everyone should see.

Sana used to live with his friends and family when he was young, but due to events he had to move away. Before he moves away, his friends Nanaka, Syusuke, Aoi and Syuri threw him a farewell party with Nanaka writing a special song for him on the violin. Five years has passed and Sana has returned to the place where he used to live though he has forgotten many things. His friends are glad to see him back, though Nanaka isn't fond of see him back.

Sana is trying his best to figure out what has happened to Nanaka and with help from his other friends, he can gather little bits of information about Nanaka, who has turned a cold shoulder to Sana. As Sana gets closer to Nanaka, it turns out; there are dark events surrounding her, especially dealing with her family. Because of past events in Nanaka's life, it has caused a rift between Sana as he was not there for her when she needed him most. Sana, on the other hand, has problems of his own past as he suffers from looking at blood as well as looking at his watch, which causes to become a nervous wreck.

Sana and Nanaka are not the only ones suffering as Syuri and Syusuke must deal with their father who has recently remarried and is bent on destroying a landmark property which Syrui and Syusuke are fond of. The series focuses on how each character faces their problem and what actions. They take to resolve them.


Myself, Yourself Characters:

Sana Hidaka
He left Sakuranomori during his childhood, and during the beginning of the series, he comes back to live by himself in the apartment building owned by Aoi's parents. He obviously had a crush on Nanaka before he left and still holds those feelings for her. He used to play constantly being bullied.

Nanaka Yatsushiro
When Sana yields to town after five years, her personality has totally changed from sweet and caring to a cold behavior, and moody. When she meets Sana again after he returned, slaps him for apparently not knowing who she was. She still seems to have romantic feeling as she gets jealous whenever Sana is with another girl. She can play violin.

Syusuke Wakatsuki
He is the best friend ofSana and the only male besides Sana himself ofthe five friends. He is the younger twin of Syuri Wakatsuki. He is very strong and he studied in Judo, kendo, Kenpo, Serindzi martial arts knows also the calculation at sorobane and calligraphy.

Aoi Oribe
She has avery high-pitched voice and child-like character. Despite being childish, she has a very caring personality, and never fails to aid a friend in need.

Syuri Wakatsuki
She can be seen as the most athletic of all the girls, although she is somewhat lacking when it comes to her figure. Despite her sporty physique, she is still a very supportive friend who had no trouble connecting with Sana, even after his prolonged absence.

Hinako Mochida
She is in love with Syusuke from when he saved her from three bullies who took her bag and would not give it back. She seems to want to learn how to be the girl he will like and asks Sana and Aoi for help. She is childish pursuant to her age.

Yuzuki Fujimura
She is the homeroom teacher of Sana's class; Syusuke, Nanaka, and Syuri are also in the same class. Whenever her students do a good job in school,such as cleaning a classroom thoroughly or bringing things to the teacher's lounge, she will give them a piece of caramel candy, and even though shesays to keep ita secret, everyone already knows that she does this.

Asami Hoshino
She seems to have a very gentle personality, and even volunteers at an old folk's home; she often asks Sana to come too, who is happy to oblige.
