Tales of Eternia is a role-playing video game by Namco in 2000. The game is, as well as Tales of Phantasia and Tales of Symphonia, a game from Namco's Tales of series. Overall, two versions have been published - the PlayStation version and the PlayStation Portable version, which is a simple port without modification of the first version.
The game was under the title Tales of Eternia: The Animation as Anime - television series adapted. The 13-part series dealt with an inserted into the plot of the game narrative. The plot of the anime series is completely unrelated to the story of the original game, but contains common elements including the four main characters, Greater Craymels, and spells. The series originally ran on Japanese television from 8 January 2001 to 26 March 2001.
On a normal day on which the hero of the story, Reid, with his best friend Farah from a lookout tower looks to the heavens, suddenly something falls out of nowhere from heaven. the two find a mysterious girl, Meredy which does not obviously speaks the same language as our two heroes At the crash site. So they try to find someone who can do what Meredy says, translating. After a while know Reid and others, that a second planet their own approaches and threaten the two planets colliding. Now Reid, Farah, Meredy and Keele want to prevent the destruction of the world.

Reid Hershel
He takes the journey to save the world is not serious and will only lead as soon as possible a normal life again. Mostly he just thinks of sleeping and eating.
Farah Oersted
She is a 17-year-old farmhand and martial artist skilled in hand-to-hand combat and quick combination attacks. She is characterized as being headstrong as well as altruistic and caring with a keen sense of justice, and has a budding relationship with Reid throughout the course of the game.
Keele Zeibe
Heis a 17-year-old student of magic known as a Craymal Mage. Although he is physically weak and tires easily, he has an insatiable hunger for knowledge and unlocking the mysteries of his world, yet he is sometimes blinded by his over-reliance on science and pure logic.
Meredy
She is a 16-year-old Craymal Mage from Celestia who speaks a language alien to the Inferians, "Melnics", that prevents her from being understood at the beginning of the game. A happy-go-lucky girl, she is known to spontaneously break into dance and is always accompanied by her pet Quickie.
Chat
She is a 12-year-old Celestian and descendant of a famous pirate who styles herself as the oddball captain of his impressive ship, the Van Eltia. Though highly intelligent for her age, she lived in isolation and avoided contact with most people until she met Reid and her friends.
