Year 2130, after the third world war, large contaminated areas throughout Japan, are known as "black spots". Thick walls were used to quarantine off these "black spots". Over time, signs of life within these wastelands. Among the survivors who had been abandoned inside the black dots, labeled as "unnecessary", gained extraordinary abilities - Fire, wind, brute force, which are defined by their supernatural ability. Others, afraid of their powers, and rejected names, unnecessary.
Needless Characters:
Adam Blade
He is an energetic man with the tendency of reacting violently and unexpectedly. He has constantly raised his voice in a violent shout, laughed at a monster, and due to his strength; tends to destroy his surroundings with raging strikes.He is the first Adam Project succesful experiment subject.
Eve Neuschwanstein
She possesses the Doppelganger ability, which allows her to transform both into other people, or simply turn parts of her body into other objects.
Cruz Schild
He is the only known survivor during the rebellion against Simeon. Even though he is powerless, his intelligence makes up for it.
Aruka Schild
She is apparently the strongest of all the fire Needless. Like Cruz she can also analyze the abilities and weaknesses of others, using this insight along with her power to crush Solva, Seto, and Teruyama in seconds.
Adam Arclight
He is the leader of the powerful organization Simeon. He starts a hunting down the "needless" on which he experiments.
Disc
She is a cyborg who had been built during the World War, her fragment is "Scan" which lets her analyze her enemies, she also has a specialty to hack into various machines.
Seto
She is obsessed with money and became a mercenary to earn tons of it. She is a young girl holding a large sword with a skull design handle. It is revealed that she has some sort of relationship with Blade long ago. Her fragment is 'Gravitation' a ability that lets her control gravity.
Solva
She is sweet and charming on the outside but is a menace and a sadistic person on the inside.She is a meglomaniac and her desire is for everyone to bow down before her as the ruler of Black Spot.Her Fragment is "Magnetic world" or in other words is "Magnetism" a ability that grants her power to manipulate metals and create a magnetic shockwave.
Setsuna
Her Fragment is Speed, which lets her move and attack with amazing agility. She's fairly level-headed, and quite prideful of her powers and position. She is one of three the members of The Simeon Girl Force.
Kuchinashi
She never speaks, instead writing down whatever she means to say on a notebook she carries around. Her Fragment is Fragrance, which allows her to use a variety of fragrances to paralyze, confuse, and generally mess with her opponents.
Mio
She is often seen carrying around an extremely heavy stuffed bear, further testament to her physical strength. She has never been seen angry during the series, and doesn't mind associating with her enemies or turning against members of the Simeon faction.
