Nisekoi follows the story of high school student Ichijo Raku, son of Chief Yakuza faction Shuei and Chitoge Kirisaki, the daughter of a boss of a rival gang known as the Bee Hive. They meet unexpectedly when Chitoge jump a wall and knees Raku in the face. After she fled, Raku realizes he has lost his pendant that was given to him by his childhood sweetheart with whom he made a secret promise. After discovering that Chitoge is a new student transferred into his class, he forces him to help her find the pendant. During this search, they begin to hate the other.
Upon returning home, Raku learns that the respective leader Shuei-gumi gang and the hive have agreed to settle their dispute by combining their children. Raku learns that his girlfriend is none other than become Chitoge. For the next three years, they must pretend to be in a relationship to maintain peace between the gangs. This appears to be a task quite difficult, not only because of their hatred for each other but also because Raku has a crush on another classmate, Kosaki Onodera, and secretly hope it's the girl wearing the key to its pendant. Several developments complicate the situation, including the bodyguard of Chitoge, a woman killer, a young girl who claims to be the fiancee of Raku, and the existence of multiple keys.
Nisekoi Characters:
Raku Ichijo
He is the protagonist of the story and the son of the head of the Yakuza. He refuses to assume the obligations of the next leader, and prefer to have a normal career once he graduate.
Chitoge Kirisaki
She is a half-Japanese transfer student from America, and the daughter of the leader of the Beehive Gangsters. She is annoyed by Raku, who calls her a gorilla woman, but pretends to be in a relationship with him in order to prevent their family gangs from going to war.
Kosaki Onodera
She has a shoulder-length dark brown hair and chestnut brown eyes. Although Raku has a major crush on her, she does not reveal that she has a similar crush on Raku.
Seishirou Tsugumi
She is a hitwoman who was raised and trained by Claude of the Beehive Gangsters. In America, her assassin code name is "Black Tiger", who had a rivalry with "White Fang" Paula McCoy.
Ruri Miyamoto
She is Kosaki's best friend. She often speaks what is on her mind, and actively pushes Kosaki to get closer to Raku.
Marika Tachibana
She does not get along with Chitoge; she states she hates girls with long hair despite the fact that she also has long hair. Although she has a reputation of being a fighter, she has a frail constitution; ten years prior, she was frequently visited by a young Raku, who brought her gifts and sparked a friendship with her.
