The series may seem inspired by One Piece in any way, and certainly its atmosphere reminds her, but has enough originality in its main idea being perfectly able to shine by itself.

We are in the Kingdom of Fiore, in a world where magic is part of the world, a place where this magic is bought and sold and is part of people's lives. There are some people who use magic as occupation, these are called wise men, who are part of different unions in those done commissioned work.
Both the anime and manga Bleach have achieved great success in and outside Japan.
