Log Horizon is a Japanese novel series by Tono Mamare that several times as manga , as well as an anime television series was adapted. The series ran on October 5, 2013 on the educational channel of the public at NHK and is designed for 25 episodes.
In its eleventh expansion pack, the massively multiplayer online role-playing game ( MMORPG ) Elder Tale became a worldwide success, being played by thousands of players. However, during the launch of the twelfth expansion pack, Novasphere Pioneers, thirty thousand Japanese players who were logged in at the same time update, found themselves teleported into the game world, with the same look of their characters in the game. Given these events, a player named Shiroe along with your friends and Naotsugu Akatsuki, decide to form a team, so they will deal with this world to return to reality, facing many challenges on this path.

Shiroe / Kei Shirogane
Also known as "Shiroe the Strategist", is a graduate student in socially awkward, having played Elder Tale almost eight years ago. He is the founder of guild Log Horizon and before was the strategist, now dismembered, Debauchery Tea Party group, an elite group formed by players who completed the quests of high-level calls Raids. For some reason, he has qualms about joining guilds.
Naotsugu / Naotsugu Hasegawa
He is best friend of Shiroe guardian. It calls itself a 'natural born pervert "means different from other men, he does not hide his perverted nature to others and is very proud regarding this fact. Because of their perverted comments, Akatsuki gets very angry and usually the fight between the two ends with him getting a knee to the face.
Akatsuki
She is a beautiful assassin in the world of Elder Tale. She was initially a known Shiroe, after the two have formed a group to complete quests that precede the Apocalypse, though she used a male character. Shiroe help Akatsuki, giving her a potion that changes the sex of your character to the female and, soon after that, she joins the group Shiroe as a form of gratitude and debt payment. She does not like Naotsugu because of their perverted comments and usually responds to this with violence. Despite the height of the character, she is currently a university.
Nyanta
A swordsman cat-man. He was the Head of Debauchery Tea Party and an old friend of Shiroe.
Tohya
He is very brash but it is clear he cares for his sister greatly and genuinely. Touya despises the kind of guild he and his sister are currently in (the former Guild), and often wonders what Shiroe would do in that situation.
Minori
She and her brother met Shiroe on their first day playing Elder Tale and asked him questions about gaining skills and healing spells. Although Shiroe dislikes when people ask him for things, after meeting them he decided to teach them about the game and even lowered his avatar's stats so he could travel with them safely
Marielle / Marie Sakamoto
She is a cleric, the rather eccentric guild master of the Crescent Moon Alliance guild, which is also part of the Round Table council, and a friend of Shiroe's. She is stronger than she looks and has a habit of hugging people so hard she slams them into walls.
