Kamichama Karin, literally "Mini-goddess Karin" is a series of animated Japanese on a thirteen year old girl, Karin, who discovers she can turn into a goddess (kami).
Karin is a girl of thirteen fairly typical. It has very poor grades in school and is void sport. She lives with her aunt after her parents died when she was young. Her life begins to change after the death of her cat Shii-chan. She discovers that her only inheritance from his mother, a ring in silver, can transform into a goddess (kami) with the help of Athena.
She befriends several other people with similar rings with which they try to unravel the mysteries of their lives. The story is set in Kazune and Himeka Kujyou and Sakuragaoka Academy, one of the most prestigious schools in Japan.
Kamichama Karin Characters:
Karin Hanazono
She lives with her aunt until she discovered her goddess powers, where she moves in with Kazune and Himeka. She is 12 or 13 years. Her ring has the power of Athena.
Kazune Kujyou
He says he cried a lot and have been very low before the age of 10, he discovered his power. He also has 12 or 13 years old, very afraid of insects and is in love with Karin.
Himeka Kujyou
She is a friend of Karin and "cousin" of Kazune. It represents a half, the other half is Kirio's younger sister, also named Himeka. When one of them is strong, the other is low.
Kirio Karasuma
He is the main antagonist. He and Kirika were adopted by Kirihiko as children. He is the student council president of Sakuragaoka Academy. He tests the protagonists and fights them outside the campus.
Kirika Karasuma
She is the twin sister of Kirio Karasuma and disguises to help her brother. It has the power of a goddess.
Michiru Nishikiori
Michiru arrived from England. It was an accident when he was young and his parents are dead. He was saved thanks to Professor Kujyou. He was a year older than Karin and Kazune. It also has a ring that God has strange powers.
Jin Kuga
Initially seen as an idol of the masses that are new to the world of entertainment. Jin has great confidence in himself and wants to retrieve the honor of his father, as revealed later in the series.
Himeka Karasuma
She currently lives in the family home Karasuma. When one Himeka is strong, it is weak and vice versa.
