Tales of Destiny

Tales of Destiny's one rare characteristic is its real-time combat system and many of the accessories therein. Participated like a side-scrolling Secret of Mana, you power every angle of the guide character's assault in real time while the other three characters attack on their own. Holding up and hitting the attack button will cause the onscreen self-image to do an upward aerial attack.

Tales of Destiny 2 pick up eighteen years afterwards the first game finished and tells the story of Kyle Dunamis, son of Stahn.

Stahn was an ordinary kid Elron, who went in search of adventure. On a ship, attack the monster, he found a reasonable Dimlos sword, an ancient legacy ofthe war. And now, with a daring treasure hunter Ruthie, good-natured warrior Marie, a naive priestess, and the Master Sword Filiey Leon Stan goes in pursuit of the stolen artifact capable of destroying the world.



Tales of Destiny Characters:

Stahn Aileron
He stows away on a ship bound for the capital, which is promptly attacked by monsters, so he grabs the first weapon he can find. He's a country boy from the boondocks town of Linea, heading off to seek fame and adventure as a soldier of Seinegald.

Rutee Katrea
She joins Stahn when he saves her from an old trap in a dungeon. She also has a Swordian, Atwight, that was given to her when she was very young.

Leon Magnus
He's a grouchy teen with a big attitude. He also has a Swordian, Chaltier, who has been his best friend since he was little.

Philia Felice
She is very faithful and loyal, and always wants to believe the best about people. Even after witnessing her superior stealing a priceless sacred artifact, she still wholeheartedly believes that he is not evil.

Woodrow/Garr Kelvin
He is chosen as the master of the Swordian Ignetos, and decides to help out Stahn again when the world is threatened.

Mary Argent
She carries around a sword that she knows is deeply connected to her past, she just can't remember how. er weapon of choice is an axe, though in the original she could wield swords as well.

Johnny/Karyl Sheeden
He's lazy, and often over-the-top. He's also traveling bard who ran away from his wealthy family.

Chelsea Torn
She is the granddaughter of the greatest archer in Phandalia, and Woodrow's number-one fangirl and also a young archer.

Kyle Dunamis
In Tales of Destiny 2, he is the son of Stahn and Rutee, who dreams of being a hero like his father.

Reala
She's on a mission to stop Elraine, a corrupt priestess also created by Fortuna, from rewriting history and replacing Fortuna as the goddess.

Loni Dunamis
He idolized Stahn and Rutee, and joined the Atamoni Group hoping that one day he could be someone the kids at the orphanage look up to.

Judas
He's nihilistic, sarcastic, and the token serious guy of the group, which lands him with the title of "token old guy," even though he looks and sounds like a teenager.

Nanaly Fletch
She has a lot of resentment for the Corrupt Church because they couldn't save her little brother without giving him a Fate Worse than Death, and decides to join Kyle's group in the hope that if Elraine is destroyed.

Harold Berselius
She joins the party, and often threatens to use everyone else as test subjects for her experiments.

Barbatos Goetia
He's easily the series' most popular villain, and has appeared as a Bonus Boss in both Tales of Vesperia and the PS2 remake of Tales of Destiny.

Elraine
She is a holy priestess known to create various miracles and accept Lens donations, rising to prominence later after the events of Tales of Destiny.
