Sola - Sky

It literally means " Sky," is a myth filled with gloom, memorable misdeeds, and dark secrets that are related to him more than he would like.

Yorito Morimiya is down right obsessed with the sky. So much that his room's ceiling is a big collage of the sky, made with photos he has taken. He is willing to ditch classes just to lay on the school's roof, watching the sky; he even forgets his sister Aono's birthday because in his mind, there's nothing but sky, sky, sky. He's even willing to wake up at 4AM just to take shots of the dawn sky. And that's how he meets Matsuri, a rather intriguing girl. From then on, Yorito is half-dragged to a story that spans centuries.

Sola Characters:

Yorito Morimiya
He is a freshman who loves taking pictures of the sky at any time of the day, and any time of the year.He's a caring younger brother who would regularly visit his sick elder sister in the hospital, bringing her weird dolls every time. He meets Matsuri Shihou early in the story and finds out. She is not human and is being chased by a man—Takeshi Tsujidou—who intends to kill her.

Matsuri Shihou
She is naughty and innocent personality never gets as annoyingly hyperbolic as it could have been. She has some sort of fetish towards canned tomato soup and has been kicking vending machines when they fail to do their vending properly.Since she had lived for over a thousand years, there are a few who aren’t comfortable with the fact, and so, she had been hunted by those people over the years, escaping every time she was to stumble upon with the hunters.

Aono Morimiya
She seems like the stereotypical quiet, unexpressive character. Her interesting back story and progressive outbursts of emotion may she stand out. She has been in the hospital ever since she was born due to her weak body.

Mana Ishizuki
She is Yorito’s closest friend in school. She’s a good secret keeper. She works as a part-time waitress in a restaurant with another classmate of hers.

Koyori Ishizuki
She is a quite gentle and well-bred little girl, compared to her older sister. The role that she plays in Sola mainly revolves round Aono, she had also been staying in the hospital until she was discharged in a later episode. Just like Aono, her sickness was never revealed, though.

Takeshi Tsujidou
He is a middle-aged man holding a massive sword. This man has been hunting down Matsuri for a long time. The main reason for why this man wanted to hunt down Matsuri still remained unclear, but perhaps it has something to do with his past with Mayuko.

Mayuko Kamikawa
Seemingly, sundered personality is very mild and never goes overboard.
