Pokemon Trainer
It is an individual who captures, carriages, concerns for and fights with Pokémon. Many will journey around one or more regions, doing such things as gathering information for a Pokédex, improving their technique, collecting badges, and working to become a Pokémon master. No matter what their specialties or aims, there is one code that they all follow - when two trainers make eye contact, they must have a battle.
Ash Ketsum
He introduced traveling across the world at age 10 to become a Pokemon master. He starts his journey with his at first hesitant Pikachu, but the two quickly become friends. He won many of his early battles on soundless luck and/or some form of The Power of Friendship. He takes every opportunity to capture a Pokémon. He may be willful, thick-headed, and compact, but he cares about Pokemon a lot and treats them with kindness.
Misty
She bitterly envies her relative tomboyish. She is a type of person that is nice and helpful. She aims to be a world-class Water-type Pokémon trainer despite her sisters' ridicule. Her well-trained Pokémon reflects her ambition. She adores the Ice-type trainer Lorelei. The one Pokémon types that Misty cannot stand are Bug-types; she tends to freak out in most cases whenever she encounters a Bug-type, which was first displayed when she rejected to befriend Ash's Caterpie.
Brock
His original goal in life is to learn what it takes to raise Pokemon to be the very best they can be. He doesn't raise them to fight, though he will not back down from a fight if flattened. As gym tradition spoke, his first Pokémon was Rock-types. However, once he could leave his gym to travel. He has dedicated himself to learn about how to care for a variety of Pokémon. Character traits is that he falls in love with every pretty woman he meets, exceptionally Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy.
May
She cherishes cute Pokemon, brilliant techniques, and has a partiality to rely on luck. When she debuted in the anime, she did not like Pokémon at all and was only interested in becoming a Pokémon Trainer, so she could travel. She is also a Pokémon coordinator from Petalburg City and is the daughter of the Petalburg City Gym Leader, Norman, and sister of Max.
Max
He is the younger brother of May, and he is a genius in the theory of Pokémon training, but he was too young to receive a Pokémon when he first appeared. Due to not being a Trainer, he is unable to train his own Pokémon. Nevertheless, this hasn't stopped him from befriending or dealings Pokémon, either wild or belonging to someone else.
Dawn
She is an extremely cool person, when she makes a mistake, she will often quickly recover and attempt to do better. Her goal is to become a great Pokémon Coordinator like her mother, Johanna. Since catching her first Pokémon, the Pokémon that Dawn acquires tends to be cute and small like her starter, Piplup.
Cilan
As a Specialist, he can read into anyone's personalities and often finds the best ways to approach them. He's patient and caring towards Ash and Iris, sometimes offering them advice when they don't know what to do. In addition to the Gym Leader duties, he is also a Pokémon Connoisseur and is capable of seeing the compatibility and closeness between Pokémon and their trainers. After his defeat, he decided to join Ash and Iris on their journey through.
Iris
She is expressed to be a rowdy girl who likes to swing on vines and eat berries. She is a girl from the Unova region who is a current traveling companion of Ash. Her Pokémon friend is Axew.
Tracey Sketchit
He is a moderate person, and has a hard time saying no to anyone, especially to girls. He showed some of his Pokémon watching skills in In The Pink, where he took sometime to observe a pink Rhyhorn. He could watch it and sketch it without it seeing him at all, until Ash approached it. One of his best known he does not appear to train his Pokémon for competitions. However, they are still important in his fieldwork.
