Haikyuu!! is a manga written and drawn by Haruichi Furudate. An adaptation animated television series produced by the studio Production IG is broadcast between April and September 2014. A second season is scheduled for October 2015.
Shoyo Hinata, a young student at Yukigaoka college is a sudden interest in volleyball after seeing a match of national inter-school tournament on television. Despite its small size, it is determined to follow the same path as his model of the national championship player, nicknamed the "Little Giant".
It then creates a volleyball club in order to begin training, and it happens to meet five other players during his last year in college. His team then participated in a tournament, but was eliminated in the first round by the team of Tobio Kageyama college Kitagawa Daiichi. Despite this defeat, Shoyo continues to train every day and enrolled in high school Karasuno where evolved the "little giant".
