Absolute Duo is a Japanese light novel series by Takumi Hiiragiboshi with illustrations by Yuu Asaba. An anime television series adaptation by 8-Bit was announced at Media Factory's 2014 Summer School Festival event. It began airing on January 4, 2015.
Kokonoe experienced great sorrow, the girl he loved greatly and it is no longer very hard on this. He does not want this thing just leave and intends to make retribution to those who committed it with his kopeck piece. To implement his plan in life he became a pupil of one of the elite institution which teaches the art of combat, it was not easy to do here because there is a very strict selection. He can wield a sword special force that is able to transform into his soul.
Man is left alone among those who can own this technology protection, no one else can have these weapons. This institution has its own laws and regulations, our hero is assigned to another heroine Iurie Sigtuna, together they will need to be trained, until thoroughly examine all the necessary skills. Gradually his plans overshadowed all have to pay attention to the beautiful co-worker.
Absolute Duo Characters:
Tor Kokonoe
His motive for joining Kouryou Academy stems from the death of his little sister, and wanting revenge and the chance to get stronger. He is dubbed an Irregular for having a Blaze which is not in the form of an offensive weapon. Despite having a defensive shield as a Blaze, Tor has learnt to use a powerful punch attack to use in conjunction with his Blaze.
Julie Sigtuna
She is a beautiful girl with silver hair and red eyes, who takes a liking towards Tor and after some time she becomes his Duo. Her Blaze are a pair of twin short-swords.

Tomoe Tachibana
She is Tor and Julie's classmate. Her Blaze is a chain. She eventually forms a Duo with Miyabi.
Miyabi Hotaka
She's also in Tor's class and tends to be shy around others. Her Blaze is a huge and heavy lance.
Lilith Bristol
A transfer student from England who wants Toru become her Duo. She's an Exception, and her Blaze is a rifle.
Rito Tsukimi
Tor's homeroom teacher, who is always energetic and dresses like a maid with bunny ears, which greatly disturbs her entire class. She has two personalities; the first one is always childish and happy, while the second is foul-mouthed and always angry. Her Blaze is a sword.
Imari Nagakura
She is the first person Tor talks to after entering the school. However, she is soon expelled from the school after losing against Tor during the entrance ceremony's combat exam. Her Blaze consists of a single sword, which she wields like a katana.
