Blood Lad is a Japanese manga of Yūki Kodama, which has been published since 2009. The anime is produced by studio Brain's Base and will appear in 2013.
The manga tells the story of Charlie Staz, a vampire that unlike others of its kind, would rather spend their time reading manga, playing video games and watching anime rather than stand around drinking the blood of the people.
Staz is a vampire like no other. Indeed, it does not feed on blood and rejects being a vampire. Staz is the head of a territory which left the world of demons. One day a man named Yanagi Fuyumi landed by chance in this mysterious world and met Staz. Unfortunately, the girl is eaten by a carnivorous plant and becomes a ghost. Staz decides to resurrect starting on a quest where he will meet many rivals and enemies.

Staz is a vampire, he is the boss of a territory in the west of the demon world. It uses fluctuating power that can act at a distance. Staz does not drink human blood, because he has great respect for them, and prefers to stay in his room to play video games and read manga. He loves everything that comes from the human world
Fuyumi Yanagi
She is a Japanese woman who came into the world of demons without knowing how. In her world, she lives with her father and does not know the identity of his mother. She's pretty, sweet and calm. Arrival in the world of demons, it will be given to Staz in his apartment.
Bell Hydra
Hydra Bell (or Bell) is a magician specializing in advanced dimensional magic. It appears during the trip Staz and Fuyumi in the human world. This allowed Staz and Fuyumi to go into the human world (the black curtain) is nothing but a dimensional door that belong to Hydra Bell
Wolf
He is a demon half-werewolf. He is the boss of a vast territory west of the demon world. In its territory is well respected and no one dares to challenge, which exasperates the highest point. His powers allow him to multiply his strength and give very powerful blows to his opponents. His demonic power lies in his muscles when he releases, it turns into a werewolf.
