Rosario to Vampire

This anime is a cute romantic comedy with a twist. Yokai Academy is a school for monsters, vampires, werewolves, succubus, ghouls and the like.

Aono Tsukune is a below average Junior High School student, which couldn’t pass the High School entrance exams, but ‘luckily’ for him his dad picked up the entrance packet dropped but a mysterious monk. So now Tsukune gets to go to Yokai Academy.

On his way to his new-school Tsukune runs into, or more precisely gets ran over by, a fellow freshman Akashiya Moka. Moka it turns out is a vampire and is very smitten with Tsukune. After their morning class, where they find out that the penalty for humans entering the school is death, Moka lets Tsukune in on her little secret, while giving the viewer a nice shot of her cleavage. Moka’s secret is if the cross that she wears is removed her other self-will comes out.



Rosario to Vampire Characters:

Moka Akashiya
She possesses a bit of naivety that draws her into problematic situations. While initially distrustful of humans, she eventually grows to care for the only human on campus. Inner Moka is closest to the original Moka save for repressed memories.

Tsukune Aono
He is a loyal friend, member of the school Newspaper Club and the only human to reside in Yokai Academy. He meets Moka Akashiya, a vampire girl who instantly becomes his friend.

Mizore Shirayuki
She was portrayed as a lonely, depressed and misunderstood girl. She has the ability to control the element of ice at will and can form clones composed of said element.

Kurumu Kurono
She is actually an innocent character, seeing as how she becomes embarrassed easily and resists anyone other than Tsukune himself. In an omake, she reveals she has a serious weakness for sweets, to the extent that she once ate poisoned cookies that she made and planned to give to Moka.

Akua Shuzen
She has shown a reluctance in fighting. She has a very dark and violent side, and will annihilate anyone who gets in her way.

Kokoa Shuzen
She is smug and snobby, thinking vampires are superior to all other monsters and humans, but actually can be a coward.

Yukari Sendo
She is very cheerful about most things. She has a knack for creating things for her goals, she once created an urn which enabled Outer Moka to express her true feelings, but it ended in where she and Fang-Fang Huang ended up switching bodies with each other.

Ruby Toujo
She is very loyal and generally seen as being sophisticated and proper, and having the credentials to fill in as a substitute teacher.
