The story chases Lucy, a young wizard that hopes to join the Fairy Tail Guild. She soon comes across Natsu, a Fairy Tail member and practitioner of the ancient Dragon Slayer Magic, as well as his partner to undertake various missions.
The main characters in this anime consist of four mages and a flying cat from the guild Fairy Tail, whom are considered to be one of the strongest teams but reckless and causes the most damage to public property?
Fairy Tail Characters:
Natsu Dragneel
He is extremely obstinate, barely ever confessing failure. He is also a member of the Fairy Tail Guild and leader of Team Natsu and Fire Dragon Slayer. He confirms himself to be one of its strongest characters, fighting pair to pair with, and ultimately defeating. Amazingly powerful individuals recognized as S-Class mages.
Lucy Heartfilia
She is a fellow of the Heartfilia family, one of the richest and most powerful corporation families in the country of Fiore. She was also passionate about literature and was in the process of writing her own novel about her adventures with Fairy Tail. She's a Celestial Spirit Mage, a member of Fairy Tail Guild, of Team Natsu. She also posses the vast magical power as she has been shown to be able to cast very powerful spells.
Erza Scarlet
She has a considerable meaning of justice and vanity in being a member of Fairy Tail. Defying being a highly strict person, she seems to have an awkward side to her, as seen when she fell into a pit hole and carried on as if nothing had happened. She is also an S-class Mage, who's well known for her usage of Requip Magic. She is a strong sword wizard whose skills in swordplay are an elite to say the least, and uses her armors and weapons to help her to get the upper hand in a fight.
Gray Fullbuster
He is truly anxious about his companions and is really faithful to the guild, but inclines to trash talk every now and then. Furthermore, he has a troubling habit of automatically removing his clothes at unsuitable moments. He is also an Ice-Make Mage. He uses Static Ice Make, meaning he can shape his ice into weapons or attacks.
Happy
He is an Exceed from Extalia, has his own source of Magic Power inside him. When using his Magic, he can grow a pair of large angel-like wings who allow him to fly around and carry others. His Guild Mark is located on his back.
Gajeel Redfox
He is totally and genuinely committed to whatever guild he is affiliated with. He's also an Iron Dragon Slayer Mage and a former S-Class Mage from the Phantom Lord guild. He was instructed by a dragon to manipulate a particular element into his fighting style: in Gajeel's case, the dragon Metalicana taught him how to use Iron Dragon Slayer Magic.
Wendy Marvell
She concerns very much for the guild members, and even proposed going to where the Exceed were to try and get them to depart. She's an extremely timid and gentle character and also a young female Dragon Slayer Mage, formerly affiliation to the Cait Shelter Guild. She learned her Dragon Slayer talents from Grandeeney.
Juvia Lockser
She is a member previously of the Phantom Lord Guild, where she was in the special team Element 4. She bothers intensely for Fairy Tail and its members. When she entered Fairy Tail, she isn't shuddered or disliked for her past relationship with Phantom, and she has a good relationship with the other members. She's also a Caster Magic user and utilizes Water Magic.
Charle
She is remarkably demanding and genuine about most of the time, scarcely showing emotions. She's also an Exceed, similar to Happy, the daughter of Queen Shagotte, and a close fellow to Wendy Marvell. She can use Aera allowing her to sprout wings on her back and fly.
Mirajane
She is an affectionate and lovingness person who deals with her friends, and even newcomers, with kindness. She plays a motherly role within the guild, and is often seen running the bar at the guild hall.
