SCANDAL provides the music and character dubbing for the animation based on a novel by Kyougoku Natsuhiko.

In a coming outlook, the world's population has lessened dramatically due to a deadly virus that petrified the whole planet. Now people eat only synthetic food and tend to abstain as much as possible any form of physical connection or "real contact" with living creatures. Stores have disappeared from the streets, and except for the community centres (what were once called schools), people communicate with each other's exclusively online. However, even in this tightly controlled and systematized society, there are a group of young girls who actively engaged in real contact. And when a string of brutal murders emerges, their challenge to this closed world is just about to begin.
