2009 J-Pop Anime Singing Competition
There will be J-Pop Anime Singing Competition in the celebration of 2009 Philippines-Japan Friendship Month. This event has been organized with the cooperation of Toei Animation Philippines, HERO TV, 103.5 MAX FX, Market! Market! Ayala Malls, and the Nihongo Center Foundation. At exactly 2 p.m. on July 25, 2009.
After a thorough pre-screening of eighty-five groups, the following ten groups (in no particular order) have been chosen to proceed to the Grand Finals of J-Pop Anime Singing Competition 2009.

5. NEWTONE (Paranaque City)
6. WHAT IS?! (Manila)
7. HIKARI (Apalit, Pampanga)
8. B-612 (Quezon City)
9. SOS BRIGADE (Makati City)
10. MUCHOS PUERCOS (Las Piñas City)
