Alodia & Ashley goes to Anime Festival Asia '09 in Singapore

 

 This coming 21st and 22nd of November 2009, at the Suntec convention and exhibition halls 403 and 404 in Singapore will be held the Anime Festival Asia 2009.

Cosplay events nowadays grows faster,  and one of the proof is the first ever regional "Cosplay Championship" in South East Asia.

Of course The Prides of Philippines Cosplay, Alodia and Ashley Gosiengfiao (sisters) goes to South East Asia Cosplay Championship.

The Gosiengfiao sisters will cosplay Witchblade Amaha Masane and Shiori Tsuzuki

FIRST EVER REGIONAL COSPLAY CHAMPIONSHIPS

Cosplay this year will have a bigger stage where AFA09 will host the first ever Regional Cosplay Championship in SE Asia.  The top cosplay team from each participating South East Asian country will be sponsored by AFA09 to fly to Singapore to compete in the Regional Cosplay Championship during the two-day anime festival where they will perform and be judged by a panel of distinguished guests from Japan including internationally renowned cosplayer Kaname☆.

Selected Finalists from overseas will have their flight and accommodation covered by the AFA Cosplay Committee. ONE Finalist from each country, with the exception of the host country Singapore, which will have TWO Finalists selected to compete.

The anime song performances will be split between the two days of the event, with Ichirou Mizuki, Shoko Nakagawa and Hatsune Miku on day one and Yoshiki Fukuyama and May’n on day two. The concert tickets are priced at S$188 for two days and S$108 for one day. You can also purchase regular entry tickets to the event for S$15 for one day or S$25 for two.
