First JPOP Anime Singing Competition held last July 25 2009 at the Bonifacio Global City - Ayala Market Market

J Pop is an abbreviation for Japanese pop.

It refers to Japanese popular musicians, and was coined by the Japanese media to distinguish Japanese musicians from foreign musicians.

It’s a Japanese Pop Culture which its influence is everywhere, in anime and manga.
